The philosophy of the AISJ Social and Emotional Literacy Program is to enable students to use and integrate emotional information about themselves and other people, in order to inform their decision making and behavior, so that they can be more successful in dealing with the demands of life. Social and Emotional Literacy is closely linked with the mission at AISJ and students should be encouraged to be concerned and committed life long learners, responsible world citizens and able to develop an understanding and appreciation of the uniqueness of themselves and others.
