• THURSDAY, FEBRUARY  25TH 
  CULLINAN DIAMOND MINE TOUR
  (2 HOUR TOUR)

  Just 20 minutes from Pretoria – and an hour and a half drive from AISJ - The Cullinan diamond mine lies over one of the biggest Kimberlite pipes ( named after Kimberly – a potassic volcanic rock known to contain diamonds).  Its major claim to fame is the discovery of the cullinan diamond, exposed in 1905 weighing at 3,106 carats! We will have refreshments at the in house restaurant – The whispering oak after the  tour.

  COST:   R200 per person
  TIME:    8:30 Bus Leaves School
  1:00 Returning to School (for 2:30)
