The Teaching and Learning Center
To further support professional learning at AISJ our Teaching and Learning center works to build, reinforce and assist faculty on a daily basis. The Teaching and Learning team includes our Director of Teaching and Learning, our Curriculum Integration Coordinator, our K-12 Differentiation Coach and our K-8 Literacy Coach. This team supports teachers both within and outside the classroom through services tailored to meet individual and group needs including:
- Orientation for new faculty
- Coaching in literacy best practices
- Coaching in differentiation
- Coaching in unit planning and integration
- Curriculum development, revision and implementation
- On-site workshops and training
- Assistance with funding for on and off site training and development
- International Baccalaureate Organization Diploma training
