Differences between the SP and LSIs
The Strategic Plan and the Leading School Indicators (LSIs) are each distinct and important pieces of the school’s strategic direction. The LSIs complement the Strategic Plan by ensuring the key elements of a leading international school are solidly in place as a strong foundation for the Strategic Plan to be aspirational and entirely focused on learning. The LSIs are not aspirational per se, as these are standards we already meet and are committed to maintaining. However, should areas for improvement be identified in the LSIs, these would be incorporated into a Strategic Plan for more intense focus and action. Furthermore, while a strategic plan is generally completed in 3-5 years, the LSIs do not have a set completion date, as these are ongoing benchmarks the school should meet.
