Parent Update, Friday, May 11
Posted 11-05-2018 08:40AM

Good morning Pretoria Campus Parents,

Congratulations, once again, to all of our Athletes and Coaches who were so appropriately celebrated during last evening’s Sports Awards. It was a great event; well-organised, beautifully run and very genuine. A special shout-out to Robyn Hall for implementing this special occasion on our campus and for ensuring it becomes a valued tradition. This is a great legacy to leave behind, Robyn!

Today we are delighted to welcome Sean Yauger, former AISJ parent and DEA Agent, to talk to us on about Substance Abuse. If you have Middle School aged children, you will find this presentation particularly informative but everyone is welcome to attend. Topics such as alcohol, and drugs particular to the South African context, will be discussed. There will also be time for a Question & Answer session. We hope to see you there. The presentation will take place in our Library Annex 1:45–2:45 p.m. Sean met with our 8th Grade students a few weeks ago, and this session will include some of the content shared with those students to help parents talk with their children about this important topic.

The last MS Social of the year will be held today. We shall start the event at 1:30 p.m. with some House Events and continue until 4:30 p.m. A huge thank you to our PA for their generous support.
