Parent Update, 7 September
Posted 07-09-2018 07:16AM

Dear Pretoria Campus Parents,

Our Pretoria campus students are fully immersed in learning and some of the many highlights this week include a memorable and meaningful classroom without walls experience for our middle school. Thank you students, teachers, and parents for your involvement and helping to make CWW a success.

Our elementary school students are in the midst of our beginning of the school year assessments including Measures of Academic Progress for grades 3, 4 and 5. During the month of September school-wide assessments will continue at a pace and rate that is best for all of our students.

A special thank you to our community for honoring me on my birthday. The September assembly included birthday wishes from near and far. All wishes including the digital surprise from CWW was sincerely appreciated. Thank you.

This week:

Monday, September 10, 2018: There is no school for students. AISJ educators will be working together on the JHB campus.

Tuesday, September 11 – Friday, September 14:  Sunflower Fund – sales of topes will take place each morning from 7:10 – 7:30 AM outside the office.  Each tope costs R30.

Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 12:30 PM: Monthly Parent Association meeting in the Parent Room. This is a different start time than usual to accommodate those who would like to attend both the Director’s Coffee and the PA meeting. All parents are members and are welcome to attend.

Friday, September 14, 2018 at 6:00 PM: Movie night showing “Peter Rabbit” is almost here!  Free event for the whole family!  Bring your blankets and camping chairs.  Middle School will be selling baked goods to raise money for their socials throughout the year.  Bring a picnic dinner or buy your food there.  Please consider signing up to help out on the night: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090a4ea5ac2ca6fd0-movie
