Thank you for your participation in student led conferences. Our middle school team of educators are requesting your feedback through the survey link that was sent to you. We appreciate your involvement. Thank you also for your involvement in the search for AISJ’s next school director. The search committee has worked to involve the entire community and your feedback is again appreciated.
Many families will be leaving AISJ Pretoria for next career posts around our world. Please let us know how we can support you and your children in your transition. The leavers form in Powerschool is required to be filled out for us to best prepare your school records and collect leavers information.
This Evening: is the MS dance. Parents please be reminded to log onto Powerschool to give permission for your child to attend. While you are logged on, please give permission to grade 3 – grade 8 to attend the Festival of Running on Friday, March 15 at the JHB campus. This week’s events include: Spirit Week, Rand Rally, Spray a Thon, Festival of Running!
Get ready to rally! Start collecting your spare change from around the house! Did you know the PA spends about R600 per student each year on our events? Help us raise the money we need to keep our fun events going! We will have a competition by grade level. The prizes for the top grades will include an ice cream party, as well as fun things your teachers will have to do at the April assembly! Let's rally!
Spray a Thon and Festival of Running will be held Friday, March 15. EC-Grade 2 students will remain on the Pretoria campus. Grade 3 – Grade 8 will be transported to the JHB campus to participate with all students and educators. Please provide permission in Powerschool. The Spray a Thon provides an opportunity for fundraising for CANSA. If your student would like to participate in the Spray a Thon, ES students should bring R25 to school next week and MS students should bring R50. Please find the link to the Permission Slip that went home in hard copy today.
March PA meeting is Wednesday, March 13 at noon in the Parent Room.
The PA needs you! Please consider volunteering your time for a position as an officer next year. It is fun and really doesn't take as much time as you think it does!
